This article will walk you through the process of making an NFT from start to finish, 

including writing the code yourself if necessary. You’ll learn about the different types of NFTs and 

how to incorporate them into your game, 

along with some tips to make sure your players have a great experience!

Things you need

A blockchain-based game that you can afford to spend money on (We’ll talk about creating one in a later section.)

An ERC-721 smart contract to represent your virtual item. 

(We’ll also talk about how you can create one of these in just a little bit!)

A distribution platform for your content, 

like Steemit or Medium. The wallet of choice where you plan on storing your newly minted crypto.

Design

First, draw up a mockup of your character. You’ll want to make sure it looks great! 

This is what you’ll be seeing every time you look at your card, so don’t skimp on it. 

Once you have a great-looking design, take some time and try drawing from different angles.

Coding

If you have basic coding knowledge, you can use that skill to help make some money online. 

Again, if you’re just starting, check out these free courses from Bloc. 

They’re a great way to get familiar with code and build something worthwhile. 

If you already have some coding experience, though, 

all you need is your own personal or freelance project (see below).

Marketing

You’ll need to spend a lot of time marketing your game, 

but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it with little-to-no money. 

Get out there and make friends in the community: share your ideas, chat about cool games, 

start a podcast—whatever it takes. The ultimate goal is to grow a loyal following who love what you make.
